This is the tag Naomi and I created. The first thing I did was create the Paws bubble letters, the lilac colored background, and the blue paw prints. Secondly, I love to travel do I added Italy in the corner. I also added the colors of the Italian flag. Then (I took the idea from Naomi[sorry Naomi]) added the music notes in there because I play flute. Then I added the open book with the words flying out of it. The words are some of the hundreds of books I've read and the characters I've loved thought out the books. Then I added the flags in the corner to show my heritage. Going from left to right I'm German, Scotch-Irish, Irish and English. Then I added the cat and horse because they're my favorite animals. I also added the hoof prints, finally I added the Minecraft block because I love that game. | |

Learning about pottery makes me think about how different the lives of potters were. How they
didn't use wheels, or kilns. It took days to make a pot, plate, but it took longer to make anything at all. I went to Sicily, and tried my hand at a wheel in sixth grade. It was harder than it looks, and I had to try many times over. We can learn from all of the art work from the ancient times to understand how they lived their lives and how different their times were than ours. For my presenting art challenge I did the Vatican Tapestries. I have made a Prezi to show you a few of the tapestries that I saw. I took the pictures myself when I was in Europe, so some of the pictures are blurry. To see the Prezi click on the button below. The theme is Christen Tapestries. When I was in Europe I saw many of the great pieces of art that was there. It took me a while to find the pictures. I was trying to us one of my personal experiences and share it with others. All of the I enjoyed this project very much and hope you enjoy my presentation. For this project I did Wax Stamps. I started out by getting the sealing wax and stamp. I lit another candle and then lit the sealing wax candle. Then, I let the wax drip onto the paper and blew the candle out. Set the candle down carefully(otherwise you might spill some wax!!) let the wax set for about 3-5 seconds. Personally, I do 5 it just makes the wax ready to place the seal onto it. After the time you can place the seal onto the wax. Press down hard, wait 3-5 seconds again then wiggle the wax seal back and forth and up and down until the seal comes free. There you go you have a wax stamp.
