I choose to do the 2D Project. My theme was Big Cats because I have always loved Big Cats since I was a little girl. The challenge was drawing the outline of the cats. I used pictures from online and traced the outline of the animal. The upper left corner is a lion looking out for his pride, the lower left corner is a tiger marking her territory, the upper right corner is a cougar stalking it's prey at night, and the lower right corner is an Ocelot is the sun. I got the idea from looking at pictures of big cats in nature. I used different brushes on the app SketchBookX to make the shadows and used different shades of green and blue to show the sky getting darker, the rivers catching sun, the grasses shades, and the trees that are in the dark and the light. I used the pictures to make the outline of the cats, and changed the bodies designs to my hearts desire. One of the challenges that was holding me back was the criticism of my peers. I'm not really good at drawing and was afraid that my peer's were going to laugh at one thing or that. It's one of the best drawings I've ever done and I'm very proud of what I accomplished and the fact that I faced it and didn't change it because of my peer's. | Here are the sources I used: http://www.khelan.net/gallery/v/Kai/artwork/drawing/pen/Outline/Lion+Lineart.png.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1 Lion Picture http://www.alenford.com/ocelot-coloring-page/ Ocelot Picture http://www.spectrumglass.com/stained-glass/products/productdetail.asp?i=337 Amber color eyes for the Ocelot https://sites.psu.edu/seanwoconnor/the-perils-of-photoshop/ Cartoon Grass Picture https://sites.psu.edu/seanwoconnor/the-perils-of-photoshop/ Cougar In the tree |
